A face cream is an emulsification of a water-based ingredients and oil-based ingredients just like a body cream or lotion.

Face creams are a wonderful way to take care of your facial skin by holding moisture in (due to the water-based ingredients), helping with elasticity, as well as softening & protecting your skin (due to the oils/butters & waxes).

A face cream is created specifically to be applied on the face, a part of the body that is usually more sensitive, and also exposed to more light and weather damage.

A cream should be applied daily , even if you aren’t going to apply makeup. Always use a cream before applying the foundation even if your skin is oily.
