Rakthashali-Iron Rich Medicinal Rice

A rare and nearly extinct variety of rice grain, Rakthashali is now being preserved by a few passionate organic farmers from Kerala.

Ayurveda uses this rice variety to correct the imbalance of ‘tridosha’ (namely vata, pita & kapha) and has properties potent enough to cure several ailments including liver, kidney & nerve disorders and is also known to combat cancer.
