Essential oils

An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile chemical compounds from plants. Essential oils are also known as volatile oils, ethereal oils, aetheroleum, or simply as the oil of the plant from which they were extracted, such as oil of clove.

You can dilute essential oils with a carrier oil and apply it directly your skin. Or you can get creative and add the mixture to a body wash, shampoo, or bath.

How To Use:

Only small amounts — typically just a few drops — are used.

  • Diffuse them
  • Roll directly on the skin
  • Ingest them
